From poetry to cultural tours to theatre projects, there is always something happening at CPF Manitoba. Check out an awesome list of Youth Activities and Contests below.
ACTIVITIES IN MANITOBA
CPF-MB organizes sponsored workshops for students interested about drama! These half-day workshops are designed to entertain and to involve each student who participates. The workshops consist of fun drama games that encourage students to use their written and oral French skills in a relaxed, positive environment. Through interactive activities and the introduction of new vocabulary, students are given the necessary tools to write and perform in a very short scene.
This year, Laura Lussier will be teaming up with Alison Palmer to facilitate the 2022 French Immersion Drama Extravaganzas with an exciting new program! Together, they will be offering in-person or virtual workshops, depending on public health restrictions in May 2022. Workshops will include fun and challenging new games and activities! All are designed to entertain and engage student participants. Interactive theatre and improvisation activities will encourage the use of French skills in a relaxed and positive environment, while students experience the thrill of working together, en français! The possibilities are endless and will be tailored to the abilities and interests of every group!
CPF-MB organizes travelling workshops/events to bring activities to French Immersion and French: Communication & Culture students to motivate them and to create relevant opportunities for them to use and expand their French language skills.
Tours are made available to schools that are affiliated with a Chapter and school with a CPF membership.
The Cultural Tour is set on a day of music, storytelling, cartooning and adventure with Tibert le Voyageur.
Stay tuned for the 2023 Cultural Tour!
